Collection: The Mercury Collection
The Mercury watch is inspired by the Grand Central Terminal in New York city, built in the early 20th century. The case side features stripes, reminiscent of the streamlined trains of the era. The dial of the Grand Central Limited is inspired by the Tiffany Clock, the largest of its kind in the world, which adorns the facade of the building. It features genuine turquoise stone inlay under a yellow gold IP frame, an eye-catching style reminiscent of early 20th Century luxuries.
The name Mercury is borrowed from the ancient Roman god of speed, travel and commerce, whose statue stands next to the clock on the monument.
Waldhoff is using a novel automatic movement, with an eccentric time display, co-developed over a period of over 2 years, and its the first brand to feature it in its collections.
