The original Multimatic has put Waldhoff on the map at the very beginning; there would be no business if it weren't for its existence. We wanted to pay homage to this style by designing a new version, improved and refined in many ways. At its heart beats the same time-tested Miyota 9100 premium caliber, a multifunction with automatic winding.

Fred's Review

The watch is really quite stunning but not in a "too flashy" way. The dial is well laid out, everything is quite visible, and the functionality is great. What is remarkable is the etching on the face since it is quite attractive and changes its appearance when ambient lighting hits it at different angles. There are few microbrands and even well established brands that do this. In fact, there is a certain sameness to many watches with very minor differences from the most expensive to the more affordable. The only real differences are refinements in the movement and the degree to which expensive materials are used. But the fundamental layout and design is very similar across many watch brands. I own an expensive IWC grand complication (Da Vinci) and frankly the look of this watch is every bit as interesting. The only correction to this review is that I changed the order to the coral face rather than the emerald. Great job, Waldhoff!
