THE QUASAR
We started with a best selling movement, the venerable ETA 6498-2 Unitas, a famous workhorse in Swiss watchmaking, and turned it into a custom-made skeleton, a modification requiring the dis-assembly of the movement into its individual parts, 3D scanning and digitization, CNC machining and careful re-assembly.

Grade 5 Titanium Case & Bracelet
For the sake of longevity and a spotless appearance, we choose the highest grade titanium for the Quasar, a high-tech material used in space and deep sea exploration. This material is highly resilient, more scratch resistant than 316L and 304 stainless steel but 44% lighter.
Grade 5 titanium (Ti-6Al-4V) is roughly 100% to 130% harder than steel on the Vickers hardness scale, which is the
primary scientific metric used to measure a material's resistance to surface scratching.
Its surface density and structure require over 2x the force to indent or scratch compared to standard 316L steel.

A Stunning Backview
The backside of the Quasar features an exposition caseback, showing the intricately skeletonized movement.
With its moving lugs, the Quasar could technically be worn upside down on the wrist.
